Talk to Pediatrician on Child Having Itchiness In Tonsils Area

Assalamu alaykum.. My son age 6 years 7 months has issue of itchiness like feeling. He feels that phlegm is stuck in his throat near tonsils area. Then he repeatedly keeps scratching throat by doing cough but irritation doesn't end. Gets better with warm salty water gargles. Also giving neo Antal anti allergy syrup half tablespoon at night daily. I must mention that child has allergies for the last few years and he's also having significantly enlarged tonsils and adenoids. Now alhamdulillah his sleep is much improved and his behavior is also better. Few months ago he went under neurology tests and treatments as well.Now his behavior issues are almost resolved except that he gets hyper and irritated soon. We are trying to avoid adenotonsillectomy. Kindly advise any medicines that can safely be given to him regularly throughout the winter and pollen spring seasons. is neo Antal effective and safe. Or shall we discontinue JazakAllah.
