AoA marham family, my son is only 3 years old yet and he is suffering with fever persistently from last two days and in the mean while his temperature is getting up and down and sometime it completely eradicate from his body. He only got relieve from fever when I am giving him his fever medicine which is recommended by our family child doctor and then got it back right after the 4 hours of his medication...Please share me ur precious suggestions, what should I do in this panic situation...I am so worried about his health...Please open this post for community and also give me ur opinion on it...thanks in advance!!!
dear I think this patient needs workup. nowadays we are admitting pts with such complaints usually they come out to be either MDR typhoid or resistant malaria. so plz don't give medicine just on empirical basis
The kid needs to be evaluated.
Complete blood workup and physical examination is required.
