It’s better to switch the baby once she is becomes habitual of eating solids. Cow milk is deficient in iron. So if the dietary intake isn’t good enough, the baby will get deficient in iron. If u must switch, then make sure that the baby is eating iron rich foods as well. If not, then you will have to start iron supplements sooner or later.
