Can babies with neurological issues breast feed.i have heard from a dr that kids who have neurological issues are unable to breastfeed

varies with every patient, kids should be assessed for swallowing by a doctor and if no problem is noticed breastfeeding can be done
however in some neurological problems swallowing os impaired and we need to give bottle or tube feeding

It depends the exact cause and nature of neurological problem.
If the disease has affected the sucking and swallowing abilities then yes oral feeding will be impaired and in that case baby will need to assessed by a competent and qualified speech and language therapist who can also assess the swallowing.
In any doubt, always consult a Paediatric Neurologist.
