My niece is 10 months old. A few days back we noticed a dimple kind of thing on her back just above the cleft b/w buttocks. She is normal otherwise but her teeth has not appeared yet and she still has not learnt to put her feet completely on floor but she does toe walk in walker. What this dimple kind of thing can be or is it something to worry about ? Attaching the pictures.

These sinuses are sometimes associated with spinal cord issue and spinal defects....
I would suggest to do a simple X ray Lumbosacral spine (AP and Lateral view)....
with report from some good radiologist visit your pediatrician then he/she will decide whether some more investigations like MRI Lumbosacral spine required or not......
Please see a neurosurgeon baby might need an mri to see if there is a spina bifida
