There is a blood mark on my son's right hand. He is one month old and the mark appeared a week after his birth. It becomes dark when the baby cries. It fades away when my wife does massage on his hand. The doctor has advised her to only observe it whether it increases or decreases. It is not increasing BTW. What should we do?
U should get it examined. It might be a bleeding disordwe or some sort of allergic reaction. It should be properly examined and further followed by tests.
Its Heamngioma, appeared week after.
Observe it , usually fades with time upto 2 years.
if bleeding or size increasing than bed ri intervene right now.
consult plastic surgeon near to you.
It looks like hehangioma . It dose not cause problem . It may stay static or increase in size but with age it may regress by 3 yrs . But still better to get it checked physically
