Assalamulalaikum..doctors plz suggest me that which formula milk is best for infants to gain weight.. Mere beti ki age 5 months hy wo day first sy formula milk NAN 1 py hy, ab wo nan 1 ni p rhi aur healthy b ni hy to koi formula milk suggest kr dyn jis sy uska weight gain ho aur kia usy fresh milk dy skti hn???

plz get herself weighed and then we will be better answer that weight is adequate for age or not. does she feeds well??? if baby is feeding adequate amount (at least 8-10) feeds per day and urinating 6-10 times and not feeling hungry/crying after feeds usually we assume that baby is taking proper feed. And about fresh milk that is not recommended before 1 year

and also start semi solid foods as she approaches 6 months. u can start with yogurt, rice based cereals etc

5.4 kg at 5 months is at lower normal range if her birth was premature or if she was less tgan 2.5 kg at birth then its normal. otherwise you have to increase feed size or frequency slowly. and its time now to start semisolids 1 by 1 in her diet
