Asslamoalikum doctor actually may baby born prematurely her weight is 1.7 at birth time She is on montherfeed I want to ask k mai usko cerelac start karwana chahti hon to gain her weight In 2 months she became 3.2 weight Should i start giving her cerelac? And which one should i give her she is 3 months 7 days
Normal weight gain is 800 grams per month for first 3 months. She had good weight gain so far. You should wait for another six weeks before introducing solid feeds like cerelac.

and she is not underweight ... baby is growing appropriately.
weaning is not started before 6 months as gut is not ready to tolerate it and it will result in malabsorption, therefore, wait till 6 months
you can give mitlvitamin supplements
I.e
maltofer drops 1 drop PO once in a day
d-max drops 1 drop PO once in a day
vidaylin drops 4 drops PO once in a day
make yourself healthy so that your baby will become healthy
neither it is recommended nor need of the baby...
I would not suggest to experiment on your child

Wait for cerelac until atleast 4 and a half moths of age as WHO recommends weaning after 4 months but give supplements like iron,vitamin D
less than 6 month don't give weaning food. only mother breast feed is sufficient till 5 months then in supporting you can give some cereals.
