Aoa kindly tag any paediatrician. My 4.5 months old baby is exclusively formula fed( Meiji FMT). He doesn’t like to drink milk and is underweight since birth although his birth weight was 3.6kgs. His current weight is 5kg. How can I make him gain weight and increase his milk intake?? Or shall I start weaning?

How can I increase his milk in take and weight? He cries and becomes fussy when it comes to drink milk. He seems v week.

Start weaning around 6 months but if your baby is attrarctive towards other food items which others are eating or not taking feed properly
Than weaning can be started a bit earlier

Thank you sir but how can I increase his weight and milk intake otherwise ? He doesn’t drink milk and consistently underweight throughout this time.

there is no short cut best thing is motherfeed but don't worry of baby intake give on demand feed.you can add ACDEK Z Drops 2 drops daily for 8 weeks

he has not gained enough weight. he has either milk allergy or signifant milk intolerance. he should be reviewed and examinrd in consult by Pediatrician.

Sir apparently he seems fine. He is active and responds fine. Problem is just he is not ever ready to drink milk and doesn’t gain weight. Can this be the symptom of allergy or milk intolerance?? What should I do then ?

Same.. Meri beti ki age 5 mnths aur 10 days hy aur day first sy formula milk (NAN 1) py hy, uska weight 4kg tha birth k wqt aur ab 5.4 kg hy wesy wo ma shaa Allah active hy pr wo bht km dudh beti hy aur weight b bht km hy

Yeh same yehe concern mera hy. Ma tou bohattt zyda koshish kr chuki houn k wo Dodh p ly but he doesn’t like to Bohat tang krta hy lekin wese MASHALLAH Bohat active hy but kamzoor hy kafi jis sy pareshani ho rahy. I’m thinking to change the milk now
