We need to know about any concerning event around her birth or a febrile illness early in infancy. We also need to know about similar conditions in the family. Also whether parents are first cousins or not. Best would be an evaluation at Developmental Paediatrics Department, OPD Building, Children Hospital Lahore. If not possible at the moment, an MRI Brain, Chromosomal Analysis and Metabolic Screening may give some clue to the cause of developmental delay in your daughter. It may also help doctors in giving some advice regarding future pregnancies.
