Talk to Pediatrician on Baby Doesn't Poo
Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Karachi
My baby is 27 days old and since yesterday she hasn't pooped. Usually she does 3 to 4 times in 24 hours but not now. Are folic acid drops causing this? She was given vit D and folic acid drops. What to do to make her poop easily. She's also making uncomfortable faces n pulling away during feed as if she's having trouble in passing gas or poop. Kindly help.

Why does a 27 day old need vitamin D and Folic acid? I am unsure. Is the baby Breast fed? When the baby do the first black poo?
