Talk to Pediatrician on Accidentally Overdosed My 4 Month Old Infant Daughter

I have accidentally given approx 10 drops of vit d( cholecalciferol) 400IU to my 4 month old infant daughter. please tell me what should I do? how can I flush it out of my daughter's system? should I be worried about this? please reply urgently if possible.

You have given 10drops it means 4000IU which is overdose that may cause nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, excessive thirst, frequent urination, constipation, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, muscle and joint aches, but chances are low at 4000IU dose because vitamin D this overdose not at toxic level (above 240,000IU is toxic dose that causes very high calcium in blood and causes confusion and fatigue, as well as more serious consequences like kidney damage).so now for the safe side you need to investigate the level of calcium in blood and consult with endocrinologist.Jazak Allah khair

Or if for u to go hospital in this covid pandemic difficult,just observe your baby for persistent vomiting and excessive crying even after feed then consult better with endocrinologist in hospital ok.inshaAllah she will be fine
