Talk to Pediatrician on 7 Weeks Old Baby Passing Greenish Stool

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Karachi

My baby is 7 weeks old and is completely on breastfeed. I got her 6 weeks vaccination done along with additional vaccination *Meningitis*. Since then i m noticing she s passing greenish stool, the texture is ok i.e; seedy and runny, the color has changed only. I had given her panadol since she was having fever after vaccination. I haven’t eaten any greens lately(tho i don’t believe my diet has anything to do with the color of my baby’s poop). Anyways, pls help it’s been a week now and her poop is still greenish. Is it normal?

Green color of stools is usually not a problem, as long as she has no diarrhea and is not dehydrated and is otherwise well. Just continue mother feed and start weaning diet at 6 months alongwith mother feed.
