Talk to Orthopedic on Bone Break After Removing Rod

Asking for Brother, Male, 31 years old, Karachi

Dear Sir/Madam, my younger brother had accident on bike in Oct-2019 & his leg bone break then doctor advise to attach rod but due to feeling pain because of rod is 2 inch long in size & during walk he feels pain, so my brother consult with doctor to remove this rod then doctor agreed to remove this rod, & last month 18-Feb-2020 doctor removed his rod & bone is already jointed but on 27-march-2020 he is walking at home and suddenly he feels current in his leg at rod attaching area & cant walk anymore then we took him to the hospital & done x-ray (X-ray attached) & after x-ray doctor told that his bone already break at same area, & doctor told to again attach same rod in same area for forever, Kindly please advise us what to do, & where we will decide to done his operation again.

Consult any good experienced Orthopeadic surgeon in your area: My plans about this patient would be : First to rule out infection ( by inspection and some blood tests ) secondly if there is no infection will go for exchange IM Rod a technical strategy and the best option to bring healing of this fracture and if there is infection then I would go for Antibiotic Rod first . I. This case Rod was malplaced and malpositioned .
