Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Bunion In Toe
Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, Lahore
AoA, I have bunion in my toe for the last 3 yrs.. I can't wear pumps and other shoes.. I only wear open shoes ..so much pain in it.. I am patient of MCTD for the last 7 yrs. Kindly suggest me should I operat this or, if any there any other treatment of it to get rid from this pain.

Go for surgery
A bunion is simple to treat though having MCTD makes it much complex. All efforts are made to treat pain with medicines, local injection and wide faced shoes that you are already using.
When non surgical methods fail to control pain then after proper physical and xrays evaluation surgery may be indicated to treat bunion pain. Surgery for bunion in someone with MCTD may again be different and case dependent.
