Talk to Cancer Specialist / Oncologist on Zolpidem

Hi, My father who is cancer patient was prescribed zolpidem 10mg by a doctor. After taking that medicine he did not completely fall asleep but is very dizzy and apparently lost his senses and control over urine. It has already been 8 hours. Please let me know if this would resolve with time. And how long would he take to be normal.
