TB Scars Detectable After Treatment

Question

I was TB positive and got it treated back in 2013. It relapsed again in 2015 and treated once again.

I want to know whether these scars can be detected in X-Rays?  Can they be removed?

I\'m applying for visa and can it be cause of refusal?

Should I or shouldn\'t tell about it during medical examination?

Sometimes post TB fibrosis remains in the lungs and can be detected on X-rays . There is no way you can remove these scars (which u call it ) . I don&rsquo;t think it should cause visa refusal . If you tell them your past history it would help you since they would know these scars are from previous infection . For more details consult a pulmonologist

yes old TB can be detected in x ray chest. regarding visa refusal it depends upon policy of visa issuing country but generally speaking there should be no issue if you dont have active TB.

There is no visa policy which ask for this tb cavities on x ray... U can go to any country u want
