Asking For Husband, Male 44, Lahore
it was diagnosed bcz of fertility issues. he has very low sperm count and biopsy suggests that he has seminoma stage 1. doctor said that he has to go through all three chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Is that so? The tumour is in left testicle. Will the treatment affect sex life and will he be able to be a father?
For stage one chemotherapy and radiation are both options. Sperm banking can be done before treatment so fertility is not an issue.
go for orchidectomy and if he has stage one disease then 2 cycles of chemotherapy with single drug is best option no need of radiation and this chemo will not affect frtility for life it will be temporary
detailed history is required to treat your problems without surgery
