Asking For Self, Female 24, karachi
my doctor has asked me to loose weight in 3 months is it okay to start dieting and exercises at this stage of pregnancy ? i am just 5 werks pregnant
no u cant start dieting...just have balanced n healthy diet...no junk...no processed...no bakery items..no cola or processed drinks...n for exercise ask urs doctor which exercises are good for u...u can walk
You can do walk 20-30 mints daily and practice yoga relaxing stretches at home also start adding healthy organic options in your diet more of vegetables and fruits!avoid doing jumping or any heavy kind of exercise in this stage of pregnancy . The Main thing is during pregnancy women body gain weight rather then losing so its not be that way possible to lose weight but you can practice dietary changes. And morning or evening walk as it is healthy for you
Do not diet excessively. You can make changes such as eliminating sugar, reducing caffeine, eliminating processed foods, etc. Walking should be your primary source of exercising. It normally is not advised to try and lose weight while pregnant. However depending on current weight you may lose some as healthy changes are incorporated. You really need proper consultation. Online consultations are available during Covid-19 restrictions.
You shouldn't go for dieting. But you can eat a healthy patterns of food which will help to maintain your weight as per requirement. And you can also do cardio and yoga (exercises). So, have a healthy and balanced type of meal.
Sweet heart. This is not the time at all to lose weight. This is the time for good nutrition to go through for your child. This is the time to take care of your self. You can choose healthy options and maintain your physical activity status. But do not go for weight loss. It’s not the right approach. Good luck!

Try not to do too strict dieting. And hard exercises including yoga, jumping, crunches etc.
I would recommend you get a tailored diet plan and a detailed assessment just to be sure and stay safe.
Book an appointment, I'd say.
