From what you have described these are not symptoms of either a stroke like syndrome nor a migraine aura. The pain is not constantly unbearable and is waxing and waning. There is also no nerve root or dermatome pattern. It’s not obviously present during sleep. It’s also tender to touch and the skin on the left side is hypersensitive. There is also hot and cold feeling and at times redness of the left eye. I would first like to rule out a migraine like syndrome or a cluster headache variant or a psychosomatic illness. We will need to do some routine tests. Once that is done we will need to go more thoroughly into the history.

I very much doubt that these are symptoms of a brain tumour. However your question shows that you are quite anxious. Such anxiety creates further anxiety. The answer is to get a proper neurological check up.
