Asking For Mother, Female 61, lahore
my mother had a stroke last month and had a angioplasty in the brain with a baloon in the clot. alhamdurillah it went well, she has complete weakness on right-side and lost her swallowing capabilities initially. she can swallow a sip of water and a little puree food. Can someone recommend any speech therapist who have dealt such cases, need urgent advise. thanks

Thankyou, will call him. Just wanted to also check, as someone had mentioned, can this be dementia. Although she has not forgotten anything, but say the word. However, when she sees numbers or mobile she does not remember the number to dial. But recognises if its a TV or anything in the past. If we start a song she sings along as much as she remembers or if we start a sentence she completes it.
