Hi, I have kidney stones for last few years and they are recurring, I have 7.5 uric acid level.. I want to know how to check if kidneys are not excreting uric acid properly or uric acid production is high?
check your kidney function tests and if blood urea and creatine are normal means kidneys are excreting uric acid properly. But if you are a stone former you need a complete metabolic work up which can diagnose your actual problem. please visit some NEPHROLOGY clinic
