Talk to Nephrologist on IGA Nephropethic

i recently dignosed the kidney disease and the biopsy report showed that it is an IGA Nephropethic and thatsway faced blood pressure issued. Doctor segested me to use zestril 10 mg to control BP and protin discharged. Since 6 month regular checkup after two months intervals my protine critinine ratio reduce from the 3.1 to .28 and doctors asked it is a good sign for me......So i just want to asked from you that Sir, with this current result how long my kidneys work properlly? is it work better throughout my whole life or it will gradullay damaged after some years?
