Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, Lahore
Aoa.I had typhoid and chest infection a month ago done my cbc it was 15.5 tlc and repeated after 3days it came 13.5 and after week again.I felt chest n ribs pain with breathing problem n took medicine for three days n done cbc tlc came out 13.4 ribs pain n chest pain not gone n took antibiotics for 8days n done cbc n it came 13.1now.what is the reason that my tlc is not going down is it dangerous thing? M much worried abt it googled n according to it m gonna die.one more thing to add I have throat allergy always having post nasal drip using spray n anti allergy tablet from 1year but tlc is killing me.plz help I

Typhoid requires ,14 to 21 days
..would suggest an x Ray n blood culture ..n don't repeat the CBC so quickly .
If culture already done then don't repeat
Chest x Ray needs to be repeated

Usually there is low TLC rather than high in typhoid. Likely it seems u have chest infection rather than typhoid fever. Get chest xray done and if u r not getting better then u should consider changing of antibiotic and get checked by medical specialist. Don't google things as for non medical person there is alot information which is hard to digest and many times its not related information. Thanks

Please get a Chest Xray
Repeat CBC after week
Get Blood culture if you have not yet got it done.
Tell us about Xray chest
Take temperature 3 times a day and record it.
