Talk to Gynecologist on Water Leakage
Asking for Self, Female, 26 years old, Lahore
Salaam doctor ! I am 25 weeks pregnant , I had water leakage 2 days ago , I was admitted in hospital and was observed overnight! Everything went fine and I was discharged the next morning ! Ultrasound at 21 weeks showed AFI 13-14 which is now reduced to 9-10 ! Doc recommended flagyl and velosef 3 times a day with full bed rest ! I am really worried ! Is the AFI that much reduced ? What should I do to maintain or increase it ?
Just rest all the time and follow yr drs instructions

Can you please explain that is it reduced that much at this time ? What should be the normal range at 25weeks ? And how can I increase it if possible ?

The outcome of leaking at this early stage of pregnancy is not much good.dont want to depress you but you should know it.some times this kind of pregnancy can b reachd to full term pregnancy.you should do bed rest change your pad daily n check any change in color of discharge or having lower abdominal pain or fever immediately consult your doctor n continue treatment
