Talk to Gynecologist on Vaginal Itching
Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, Lahore
Aslam o alikum. I am married one year... i had a problem that when i have an intercourse after that i have an itching in vagina for 10 mins.. i go to the washroom for clean this itching... then it goes away... i am trying to convice ... can this itching effect conceiving.. i have no burning during urination... no pain.. Thanks in advance...

I think it is a minor infection most probably a fungal one.
It is better to get it treated before conception.
Use cotton undergarments.
Avoid using deodorants and chemical antiseptics on the area.
Vaginal itching after intercourse lasting for few minutes and disappearing after washing is due to irritation from semen not due to any infection
Just take antihistaminic Tab like Rigix once daily for 7days
Avoid Vaginal washing ,washing vagina causes increased sensitivity
Apply canesten cream three times daily
