Talk to Gynecologist on Suspected Gonorrhea / Chlamydia
Asking for Self, Female, 38 years old, lahore
i suspect that i have acquired gonorrhea / chlamydia from my partner , i want to know which lab is using better method to test.
SKMT is using detection via geneXpert
Chughtai lab is using different methods i.e 1) Urine in eNAT Tube 2) gram stain (Urethral Swab) 3) Urethral Discharge Swab
kindly advise which form of testing is better and if there is any other lab that performs a better testing in terms of method

usually its pus coming !! puss occurs from both urethera! opening and collection method can differ
when there is pus there is swab
