Posting again as didn’t get any satisfactory ans on previous post. I’m 19 weeks pregnant. I have been advised bed rest by my doctor. Mostly I’m in bed, sitting and lying. Can any dr pls guide that what is correct posture to sit in bed? Most of the time, I’m sitting with pillows on back & straight legs. And lie on my sides while sleeping. Is that fine? What postures should be adopted while sitting in bed?
what's the reason behind advising strict bestest?book a consultation for detailed understanding
Ideally you should not take bedrest or lying without movement for more than 5 to 6 hours. If there is any strict reason you can discuss. Regarding pregnancy,, there are postures but first depends what's your symptoms and indications for such strict bed rest. https://www.marham.pk/doctors/rawalpindi/general-practitioner/dr-rehmat-asif

I have history of missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. The doctor advised to take rest as baby head is very low. I do walk as well. Not sitting all day. Just want to know about the correct posture to sit in bed.
