i am 25 years old 5.8 inches tall unmarried weighing 71 kgs. My mother and maternal grandmother had cyst issues my mother also have hyperthyroidism. in last dec my date was 13 but till 23 i didn't bleed. i visited a gynecologist in society she told me i have pcos and right ovary is typical polycystic. she prescribed primolute n for periods for 5 days but i bleeded on 24. ever since then my periods are regular. recently i had my periods on 29th day of my cycle. but this time i only bleeded for 2 days, on 3rd day very little blood was seen on washing , pad remained unstained on 4tg day i had brown discharge. i never had very heay bleeding ever but i use to bleed a little on 3rd day too. i had my harmones check in January they all are normal. today i visited a gynecologist in ultrasound my right ovary appeared large and bulky. she prescribed me folic acid n said yet the issue is not severe but can be in future and asked me to take folic acid every day and notice my cycle for 2-3 months.
ultrasound is suggestive of PCOs. ur complete evaluation is needed for further treatment. however if ur cycle is not much disturbed, u can wait for 3cycles to become normal.
in pco there should b bilateral polycystic ovaries.ideally u dont have pco as such but at border line it could b. dnt worry continue folic acid one daily and try for normal conception

according to invx ur prolactin is high-gt it checked again-probably thts the cause of ur reduced bldg-

should i wait for 2 cycles or 3 taking folic acid daily and then get my harmones check

Dear patient don't worry about conception you can conceive. At the moment your cycle is normal and hormones are normal so no worries. Just continue with healthy lifestyle regular exercise. When you want to conceive than you may need some treatment. Tc

thank you for your kind assistance. is a 2 day bleeding period normal ? as my current period was of 2 day bleeding with very less bleeding on 3rd day normally i do bleed little on 3rd day but this time it was very less but my cycle was of 29 days

You can conceive easily or with support of medicine that depends on your symptoms n weight at that time. At the moment things are not bad.

no mam i dont have thyroid issue at all . my tsh fsh lh prolactin and insulin are normal . igot them checked in January

just by having an ultrasound, no reasonable doctor can suggest the patient any treatment. complete evaluation is needed to suggest required treatment
