U will hav to see ur gynaecologist for a full pre pregnancy consult .. u will be requiring some basic tests which will ascertain whether ur diabetes is controlled or not and ur medicines and their doses will hav to be adjusted before u try to conceive.. as uncontrolled diabetes is harmful for the fetus
