Asking for Self, Female, 36 years old, USA Asslamualikum! Can you plz tag someone as I’m writing my problem 3rd time . I’m 16 weeks pregnant and my dr prescribed my aspirin 81mg at 12tg week of pregnancy. I do’t have any bp or other health problem Alhumdulillah but dr said they prescribe aspirin here in USto prevent preeclampsia in kids in ladies over 35yrs. I do’t want to take any medicine bcoz of their side effects. I’m already taking prenatal. Plz advise JazakAllah .

Aoa. Dear pt do u have sum previous history of raised bp or history of raised bp in ur parents? If yes thn its gud practice to start aspirin .it has more benefits thn risks. . No major side effects r observed
