Talk to Gynecologist on Postpartum Bleeding

I had my first baby 1 month back via c-section. My pregnancy was tough. I got typhoid during the first trimester and had severe oligohydramnios during the last trimester so we had to go for emergency cesarean 2 weeks before expected date. Everything went fine. In the start, the bleeding was normal which turned to yellow discharge after some days. But from 3 to 4 days, I am having heavy bleeding. My postpartum period is supposed to end next week. Is this normal or should I go see my doctor? Also my doctor found fibroids during the surgery. Does this have anything to do with the excessive bleeding? If not, what could be the cause of this heavy bleeding?
