Talk to Gynecologist on Post-menopausal-bleeding
Asking for Mother, Female, 59 years old, KARACHI
my mother having post-menopausal-bleeding since six months ago detail reports are attached ca 125 and paps smear test are normal but bleeding still continue.dr given postan fort,cepspam and transamin for 10 days please advice what to do?
Please send me the exact reports of her EUA , DnC and Histopathology report.
The definitive management at this age is usually removal of uterus. But let's have a look at the abovementioned reports
Post menopausal bleeding for 6 months and 2.2 thick endometrium (though trans Vaginal scan was required)
Immediately Endometrial biosy is required first
Then Total Abdominal Hystrectom with BSO should be done

if she suggest surgery for removal of uterus without biopsy will it be better?
