Aoa it seems that doctor is treating u on the line of pcos. If u have no intention of conceiving. Then to normalise your periods. Along with diet exercise glucophage and sachet is enough. It takes 3-6 months. Pregnancy can happened during this treatment otherwise induction of ovulation can be done. Oral contraceptive pills can be used to normalise your cycle but it is not the treatment and it has side effects also. May be u have already used it. Relax and wait for periods and then contact your doctor. Thanks
