Talk to Gynecologist on Periods Issue

i've my periods due to 6 sep. on 3 of sep i had light spotting which i thought that it's start that's why can be light. but the hole day passed there wasn't any more spotting. and it was all cleared next day. it was just a light very light spotting brown in colr for 2-3 times only in a day. My periods were regular before that and never happened anything like that before. i want to ask should i do pregnancy test ? married since 2 months.
