Talk to Gynecologist on Period

I am having irregular periods. I start spotting but no bleeding for a day or two n then it starts. Last time I had my spotting started by 25th of May which lasted more than a week with mostly spotting and very occasional proper bleeding. But now after 5 days of my last day I have again started spotting n occasional bleeding. Please help.
