Talk to Gynecologist on PCOS
Asking For Self, Female, 23 years old, Saudi Arabia
I was diagnosed with PCOS for 3 months ago. My report say that showing multiple follicle peripherally located with increased ovarian stroma. My Gynecologist prescribed me with 500 mg of metaformin. I heard from lots of people that this medication has side-effects. I am confused a lot. Should I take this medicine or not? What are the serious side effects of this medicine? Is there any other medication for treatment of this disease? What are the possible and common side effects of the medication? Indicate if there is any critical side effect of the medication.
