Talk to Gynecologist on Miscarriage Problem

we went to our consultant Dr in 8th week and till then baby's heart beat and growth was okay. and she ask us to come after a month. but in 11th week my wife got some headache problem so we went to Dr and after ultrasound she said that baby's growth has been stopped and heartbeat is not showing from week 10 and 4th day. and it was 11th week and 5th day going. she was unable to understand the problem and just recommended for abortion. my questions are 1. is there any possibility that without any reason baby has stopped growing? 2. if so, would it be dangerous for wife to keep the baby in the womb, just to assure that baby is alive or not after 1,2 weeks we will have an other ultrasound. 3. do you recommend us to not to abort and we should wait for some days just for our assurance?
