Talk to Gynecologist on Is Ultrafol Medicine For Folic Acid?
Asking For Self, Female 27, lahore
I'm in my first 1st trimester of pregnancy and already taking folic acid 400 mcg. I visited doctor and she gave me ultrafol 600 mcg. Shall I skip folic acid while I'm taking this? or they are 2 different medicine?

yes both can be taken on alternate days.
Dear patient! Ultrafol is having better form of folic acid than Tab. Folic Acid which is readily available to absorb, so it's better to take ultrafol .. for further queries you can visit me ..Thanks
