Talk to Gynecologist on Irregular Periods
Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, Karachi
I had irregular periods before marriage and , after getting married after 3 months i went to dr she told me that you are suffering from harmonal imbalance , and she gave me duphaston and i than i got my periods on time, and after 3 months she said for conceiving i should take cereophene from day 2of my periods and ultrasound on day 12, i did all but for eggs she gave me injections, i did all this but nothing had happened till 4 months , last month i haven't took duphoston and i didn't got my periods, and same for now , what should i do?

oh my GOD its is fairly natural to not conceive up to a year after marriage having all these meds not necessary very helpful.from your history there might be suggestion you might have polycystic ovary syndrome but it needs diagnosis
1' over wt with facial hairs
2\ abnormal ultrasound
3/ abnormal fsh /lh ratio along with raised androgens are diagnostic for pco
first arrange these test
then we will talk what next can be done

picture is very clearly suggestive of possible pco. get free androgen levels and usg pelvis from some good radiologist to ? about poly cystic ovary disease but dont stress out you need to be realistic and give time

yes you can obviously fertility issues can be there with people having PCO but first establish the fact if you have or not then give reasonable time i men if you are getting desperate after 3 months of marriage which is nor realistic .people have used clomifine to induce ovulation but i think before you start thinking of this loose wt get tests if it is pcod start metformin 500mg x 3 times/day
