Talk to Gynecologist on Incision And Drainage Of Lactational Abscess

As salam o alaikum i have an incision and drainage of abscess on 23 july . Now my wound is clean but it is red in colour . Surgery was done by my gynae and she advised to use povidone iodine gel once pus stop coming out of wound and stop dressing . But now i have condulted a surgeon for second opinion she advised me to not use povidone iodine gel for dressing and to use polyfax eye ointment snd just place sterile gauze piece on wound as acc to her iodine takes longer time to heal wounds . And should i continue to breadtfeed ,y baby with effected breast? Now i want advice how to dress my wound .kindly help me . I m a lactating mother of 2 months old baby .
