Talk to Gynecologist on Impact Of Lignocane On Conceiving
Asking for Wife, Female, 34 years old, Rawalpindi
My wife suffered pain whenever we had intercourse. A gynae advised her to apply lognocane gel 15 minutes prior to reduce pain. It works. However, we want to conceive now. My question is that does lignocane gel have any negative imapcts on ability to conceive? Should we stop using it??
Secondly, any negative impacts if used in the long term to reduce pain??

it is better to use any lubricant like optilube or Ky jelly.they are water based lubricants and have no impact..though the lignocaine doesn't harm sperms either

We opted for lignocane because of the pain factor. Would the suggested lubricants also reduce pain??

which kind of pain is it .it needed to be probed further and the patient need to be examined for that.. lignocaine can never be the solution to any problem.it cam only be advised when no cause is found.the lubricant serve the same purpose
