Hi.. Can u post my querry as annonymous? Im a dr myself and primigravida and have a few querries from worthy gynaecologists. 1)is induction necessary?what if i choose natural pains?can they harm me or my baby? 2)is episiotomy absolutely necessary?and u give to all primies or cn i choose nt to have it?anyone here who doesnt do it? 3)can i choose water birth?is it available in pakistan? 4)do u use opoid analgesic during svd?what possible harm cn it hv on the baby?

Aoa dear doctor induction of labour is not always. If everything thing goes ok then you can wait for natural on set of labour till 41 weeks of gestation. 2nd it is your preference that u like small tear during or episiotomy during 1st baby birth. Other analgesia in labour is available. Thanks
