I want to ask general instruction after someone gets a positive pregnency test.. when should they consult the doctors? What precautionary measures should be taken? What to avoid and what to adopt? When to worry? For first child* if living alone

First of all consult with a doctor and avoid traveling/excercise.
Folic Acid is very important to be taken which helps in building of brain of baby, so it should be taken but only after consultation with gyno.

I think you should be visiting a doctor as soon as you have a positive pregnancy test. You should take folic acid in early.part of pregnancy. Try to avoid excess of tea , coffee and chocolate.
You ahould avoid excessive activity. You need to worry when there is intense lower abdomen pain or pv bleeding
