I want to remove IUD multiload. It's almost been five years since i placed. When should i go? During periods or whenever?
Best time is immediately after periods. Gets removed easily..
get it removed within first week of ur new cycle i.e. day2 to day 8.. this is usually ur bleeding days of periods.. u can visit when ur bleeding is light. however at other times, it can also be removed.
after removal , ur fertility will resume immediately. u can easily conceive. no need to avoid coitus. usually there is no heavy bleeding after its removal however if u experience any pain bleeding or excessive unusual vaginal discharge..in that case, u must consult again.

Thank you doctor. Actually i can't go to hosp during RAMADAN and my periods will be starting from 25th april hopfully 1st roza. thats why i wanted to remove it before that.

If removed correctly it does not cause any bleeding and there is no need to avoid coitus but be prepared for possible conception!
