Talk to Gynecologist on Conceiving
Asking For Self, Female, 27 Years old, Karachi
Dear Doctors, i want to conceive without using any treatment. I had disturb cycle this month, after 62 days and taking primolut N i got my periods. My height is 5.5 and weight is around 70 (haven’t checked recently). Please recommend anything for egg growth and conceiving. I am concerned about that my eggs will not grow mature enough to fertilise or maybe i won’t ovulate. Today is my 2nd day i am thinking to get TVS to check egg growth at 15th day as my cycle count is 35 days. On daily basis i take Ad folic 600 mcg, glucophage 500 mg, osnate D. Please recommend anything which can help me to ovulate properly and conceive, will be grateful to you. Please am worried and want to have a child. Thanks

plz check ur recent weight and then calculate ur bmi
have you got ur recent period naturally or by medicine??
u need detailed consultation regarding your concern
if problem is in your egg growth yes then you need medicine but under supervision as it need ultrasound f/ups
as you have prolonged ...hormonal problem is there but other causes also coexist like thyroid disease/pco...etc. so need proper targeted treatment
continue folic acid and glucophase

The best advise to increase chances of conception without treatment is to reduce your weight till 55 kg. Continue folic acid.

I have been married for 4 years but we were not together for 2 years in the beginning. Later in the third year we did all our primary infertility tests and they all were ok. I have been diagnosed with PCOS way before marriage and as per dr till now it’s minor nothing to worry about in it. But later that year we took ovulation induction treatment and it was a success in the first cycle but in the 6th week I miscarried. I tried 2nd cycle after 2-3 months no success. Honestly, we do not have right frequency to try, it’s around 2-5 times a month or sometimes 0. When i conceived with medical help i weighed around 64kg . All my test reports are ok as per dr .
