I am 29 weeks pregnant Here is my urine culture report, I had a pain in my right kidney doctor advised me for us in which my right kidney was enlarged. After that I had urine culture test which shows infection. She prescribed me an antibiotic injections "Cefaject" twice a day for 5 days. I want to ask: 1. Is it safe for the baby if I get these injections? 2. Is it necessary to prescribe antibiotics? Like infection is that much serious?

Thank you doctor. One more thing can you please tell me should I repeat urine culture after completing this course? If yes then after how many days should I repeat it?
U can this inj its safe in pregnancy after completing the course u cn watch for symptoms no need of futher culture
