Asking For Self, Female 26, Lahore
i had my anomaly scan at 20th week, which shows mildly prominent pelvicalyceal system of both kidneys measuring 4.5mm. i repeated the scan at 22nd week and the problem is still there and have increased a bit (4.9mm). Please let me know if it is something to be worried about.
u will need regular scan to keep a check on it as it can slowly keep increasing and can reduce babys fluid..also consult a fetal medicine specialist in lahore and a paediatric nephrologist in children hosp lhr for its management after delivery
