Talk to General Surgeon on Hernia Surgery Wound
Asking for Other, Female, 50 years old, Karachi
My Aunt Had Hernia Removal Surgery Two Weeks Back. Yesterday She Got Her Bandage And Staple Stitches Removed. I Am Attaching Picture Of Wound. I Want Second Opinion For Her As Wound Is Slightly Open. I Doubt It Will Raise Infection But Her Doctor Says Wound Is Fine And Will Heal On Its Own Now.
She Can't Visit Hospital Again And Again. Please Advise On Picture Attached That Is It Normal Or Not?

wash daily with normal saline ...try to to sequeze it to bring fluid blood or any collection out.....it will automatically vlose ...if fever them antibioatic should be usef

Wound healing is incomplete from one edge.. it will heal but if there is no discharge from it and you are changing dressing on daily basis.. if there is discharge.. it should be cultures than appropriate antibiotics should be used
