It occurs traumaticly or etda antibodies reaction..to avoid platelets clumps use anticoagulant, sodium acid citrate.

please DO NOT use any anticoagulants or sodium citrate. platelets seen in clumps on CBC are not a problem.
Seems like laboratory error . Repeat test . Send detailed history of patient
